I Don't Know What To Say

To my babylost momma friends,
I read your blogs. They move me and make me think. They help me understand some of my own feelings that I can't quite put my finger on. Most of the time I don't know what to say in your comments. That bothers me. I start to write a comment and I feel it sounds superficial, so I will erase it. But I want you all to know I am there reading and supporting you. Maybe I should just write "I was here"?
I don't want you to think I am not here. That I am not listening. I am.
I just don't know what to say always.....
All my love,
Alisha

I understand. I feel the same way sometimes, and just hope that my one-line comments convey all the care I have in my heart.

But, fwiw - your comments have always been incredibly caring and thoughtful, in my opinoin. So even if you just said, "I was here," I would know that you were thinking of me :)

I don't always comment but I do always feel what I read and I often sit here with tears rolling down my face as I am right now.

Thank you for posting. Thanks to everyone for posting. You guys are like my friends and you aren't running away from grief unlike my IRL people.

thanks for posting this, i feel the same way too sometimes. and really, sometimes the comments i leave are just ranting, but i'm always moved by everyone's posts and care so very much. sometimes i can't find any words at all, and i think that's okay.

Hi Alisha,

I'm so sorry for the loss of your beautiful boy, Clarence.

In one of your earlier posts you mentioned that you would have had two under two. I also would have had two under two, but I lost my son, Bailey in March.

Take care,
Fiona
